Professional Development
We know how important CPD for teachers is, which is why we provide professional development opportunities when you join our team.
We have recently partnered with Free Courses England to provide our teachers and teaching assistants access to a number of funded Level 2 accredited courses. This includes courses on important topics such as mental health, autism, challenging behaviour and equality and diversity.

Supply teachers and teaching assistants will have access to courses organised by Exeter Consortium, our partner organisation.
These courses are organised in partnership with South West Institute for Teaching (SWIFT) whose aim is provide access to high quality CPD for teachers which covers all career stages.
Offering professional development for teachers allows them to develop their expertise which, in turn, has a big impact on pupil outcomes.
It also means teachers find their careers more rewarding, as opposed to teachers not given CPD opportunities who are more likely to leave the profession early.
